Turbine Repair Services :

With over a decade of experience we supply industrial steam turbines up to 100Megawatt Electric (MWe) and refurbish rotating equipment. 1.Rotor and Casing Repairs :

Precision repair and refurbishment of turbine rotors and casings to restore integrity and efficiency.

Scope : Crack repair, metal build-up, machining to restore concentricity, balancing and surface finish restoration. 

Process : NDT (visual, dye-penetrant, ultrasonic) → weld metal build up with compatible filler → stress relief heat treatment if required → finish machining to original geometry → dynamic balancing. Blade Reconditioning, Replacement and Profiling 

 Key deliverable : Restored run out and concentricity to OEM or agreed tolerances. Field repairs (rotor-in) are possible for journals and some rotor work to reduce outage time.

2.Blade Reconditioning, Replacement and Profiling :

Precision repair and refurbishment of turbine rotors and casings to restore integrity and efficiency.

Reconditioning of worn blades : Erosion/corrosion removal, crack repair, tips restoration, shot-peening or
peening for residual stress improvement.

Replacement with high quality parts : supply of OEM equivalent blades or upgraded alloysfitcheck and dovetail attachment refurbishment.

 Profiling of optimal aerodynamic performance : Aerofoil recontouring to restore lift/efficiency. Final inspection with 3D scanning and profile comparison to baseline. Blade balancing and tip clearance verification after reinstallation.

3.Bearing Journal Rebuilding :

Restoring journals to original specifications for smooth and reliable operation.

Options : Metal build-up (welding or thermal spray), machining to nominal diameter, or
insitu machining with location on bearing halves for rotor-in repairs. 

Controls : Restore journal roundness, taper and surface finish to specified Ra and geometric
tolerances, re-establish oil film clearances per bearing specifications. Field machining can
dramatically shorten outages when feasible.

4.Alignment and Clearances Corrections :

Ensuring precise alignment and proper clearances to minimize wear and maximize efficiency.

Activities : Shaft alignment (laser or optical), casing-to-rotor concentricity check, axial and
radial clearance measurement, shim or machining corrections.

Deliverables : Documented alignment reports, clearance maps and acceptance criteria tied
to OEM or plant standards.

5.Seal Restoration :

Repairing and restoring seals to prevent leakage and maintain system integrity.

Types :  Labyrinth seals, Brush seals and Abradable coatings.

 Work :  Replace worn segments, recoat abradable surfaces, restore seal and land geometry
and verify leakage performance during commissioning. 

6.Turbo Charger Repair Services :

 Full We provide end-to-end solutions to restore turbochargers to peak efficiency and reliability Complete Dismantling and Inspection.

● Full disassembly of the turbocharger unit.
● Detailed inspection of all components using visual checks, non-destructive testing(NDT)and Dimensional measurements.

● Identification of wear, cracks, erosion or imbalance issues

7. Shaft and Rotor Repair :

 

● Precision machining and straightening of bent or worn out shafts.
● Journal restoration to OEM tolerances for proper bearing fit.
● Rotor crack repair, weld build-up and re-machining.
● Dynamic balancing of repaired rotors to ensure vibration free operation.

8. Compressor Wheel and Turbine Blade Restoration :

 

● Reprofiling of blades to restore aerodynamic efficiency.

● Replacement of damaged blades with OEM or upgraded
materials.
● Surface treatment (shot-peening, polishing) to improve fatigue resistance

9.Housing Repair and Replacement :

● Verification of concentricity, clearance and tolerances.

10. Dynamic Balancing to International Standards :

Documentation :  SRepair reports, material certificates, weld procedures and post repair test. 

Materials, Tolerances and Turnaround :

Materials :  Matching base alloys, high nickel weld consumables, abradable coatings and OEM grade bearing materials.

Typical tolerances  :  Journals to/within 0,01-0,05 mm roundness depending on machine class and clearances per bearing
specifications.

Turnaround : Field journal repairs can be completed within outage windows. Full shop
rotor rebuilds depend on scope(days to week).

Risk and Mitigations :

Risk : Hidden Cracks or metallurgical changes after welding, improper clearances causing
bearing failure.
